Lung Function Test

Spirometry Testing is a common lung function test that assesses how well your lungs work by measuring how much air you inhale, how much you exhale and how quickly you exhale. Spirometry is used to diagnose asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other conditions that affect breathing. It is one of the most important tests in diagnosing lung disease.

Spirometry is a painless test and can be completed in about 15 minutes.

How does it work?

A Spirometry test requires you to breathe into a tube attached to a machine called a spirometer.
